Vancouver Olympics, day 6: “Bygones…”
“Oli ja meni” — which roughly translates as “bygones…” into English. That was the commentary of Janne Ahonen today as he finished fourth in the normal hill competition. I don’t have anything to add. So I just post a view from the normal hill, shot from side of the olympic rings.
I added a selection of my work from the Vancouver Olympics to the sidebar on the right. I’ll add things as the games move forward and with “Photos” I will try to do a daily update.

Very nice. It’s not that easy to get a great snow photo in HDR. This is a great shot. That’s an amazing view — what lens was this shot with?

Thank you for commenting. It was 16–35 2.8L on Canon 1dmk4. It’s been rain, rain, rain… for the first week. So frustrating…
this is such a beautiful shot
